on screen keyboard (OSK) leaves dark marks on screen after being hidden
Hello! I originally reported this issue on Launchpad while testing Ubuntu 19.10 and was advised to open an issue here.
GNOME version: 3.34.0-1ubuntu1 Tested on device: Dell XPS 13 7390 (with touch screen)
Steps to reproduce:
- Make the on-screen keyboard appear by tapping on a text field or swiping the screen up with your finger (see video).
- Tap the arrow down key to hide the OSK
Expected result: the OSK disappears
Actual result: The OSK leaves dark traces on the sides of the screen.
This issue happens on both Xorg and Wayland sessions, and can also be reproduced in the login screen itself (which, on Ubuntu 19.10, uses gdm3 running Wayland).
