Changing workspaces by scrolling (mouse/touchpad) in activities is unusable

The scroll sensitivity is too high in the activities view, it's hard to go to the previous or next workspace with the mouse or the touchpad, it always jumps over a couple of workspaces. The sensitivity is right for the rest of the applications, it's just gnome shell.
