Native Window Placement breaks activities overview opening and closing animations on GNOME 40
When Native Window Placement is enabled on GNOME 40 (Fedora Workstation 34), the animation for closing the Activities overview is not "smooth" all the way. The animation seems to abruptly stop when it "bumps" against the search box, and then just jumps from that point to the fullscreen background.
Without Native Window Placement, the animation is smooth between the two states. The animation for opening the activities overview seems to have the inverse problem, but there it's harder to notice due to the inverse animation acceleration curve (the background is moving very fast during the "jump" anyway).
For visualization, here's a short screencast that should demonstrate the issue: https://decathorpe.fedorapeople.org/media/gnome-nwp-screencast.webm
