Suspend on idle not functional when notifications in lock screen are active
Submitted by al
Similar to bug 712706 (in which it was said to open a new bug report if this continued happening).
When automatic suspend is enabled in Gnome Control Center while lock screen notifications are enabled my device does not suspend after the configured timeout as expected, probably interrupted by the "Your device is about to suspend" notification which appears just when the autosuspend timeout ends. If notifications in the lock screen are disabled in notification settings the device does automatically suspend as expected, further confirming that the suspend information notification is the culprit.
This is happening on an Acer C720 Chromebook, if this information is of any use...
I have tested that this bug occurs in GNOME 3.22.2 on Arch Linux and in GNOME 3.24 on OpenSuse Tumbleweed.
