Add an option to configure trackpoint
The trackpoint is a pointing device that has several advantages over touchpads on linux.
- accelerated scrolling (under libinput, scrolling is painful for apps that don't implement momentum scrolling)
- no edge, can move the cursor as far as you like. (under libinput, there is no option to "enable corner coasting for touchpads)
- perfect palm rejection since no palming, though libinput does job with touchpad palm rejection.
Therefore it makes sense to add a setting for trackpoints.
Settings:
- Cursor speed.
- Acceleration.
- Scroll speed.
- Enable/disable.
Maybe other settings like disabling touchpad for n-seconds after moving the trackpoint, to prevent interference from touchpad.
