Pressing power button during screen-lock or blank-screen state should not suspend machine
I have a tablet with no physical "windows" button. The only hardware buttons are volume +/- and a power button. Pressing the power button during blank screen directly sends the tablet to suspend. Therefore, previously, to return from a blank screen (or locked screen) state, I would tap the screen and it would turn back on. However, this behaviour was "fixed" by mutter!133 (merged), so the screen will no longer be sensitive to taps when it goes blank (see discussion in mutter#363 (closed)). Now I have no way to return from a blank screen state on the tablet without either increasing/decreasing the volume via the vol +/- buttons or attaching a keyboard to it.
I suggest that the behaviour of the power-button during screen-lock or blank-screen be modified so that it wakes the screen up, and does not send the computer to suspend. Otherwise, tablets such as mine have no way to get back, at least without resorting to clumsy workarounds.
