gnome-session: Make sure REGION is not confused by debug output · c449df52
      Guido Günther authored
When gnome-session is invoked with G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all set, $REGION
will also contain dconf's debug output:

          $ G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all gsettings get org.gnome.system.locale region
          (process:14005): dconf-DEBUG: 15:59:46.581: watch_fast: "/system/locale/" (establishing: 0, active: 0)
          'de_DE.UTF-8'
          (process:14005): dconf-DEBUG: 15:59:46.582: unwatch_fast: "/system/locale/" (active: 0, establishing: 1)

Avoid that by setting G_MESSAGES_DEBUG empty.

Add methods and backend to support RebootToFirmwareSetup · 5e004284
      Carlo Caione authored
Add two new methods (SetRebootToFirmwareSetup and
CanRebootToFirmwareSetup) to the D-Bus interface to support rebooting
into setup mode. The idea is to present the user with a new option when
rebooting allowing to reboot into the firmware setup interface.

save: make sure app state is written into desktop file · f7ff8077
      Ray Strode authored
There are a number of important bits of app state written into
an applications desktop file that needs to be restored when
the session is saved. For instance, the phase in which the client
      should get started.

That state is currently stored on the GsmApp object, which is
inaccessible, from the client save function.

This commit adds the neccesary plumbing to route the GsmApp object
associated with a client to the client save function, and also
adds code to allow the app object to augment the client keyfile at
      save time.

gsm-systemd.c: Restrict the login monitor to the "session" category · a9e98056
      Owen W. Taylor authored
We only are interested in changes to sd_session_get_active(), so only
listen for changes in the "session" category. This reduces overhead
by a small amount, and also reduces the amount of /var/run/systemd
that needs to be read. (Bug 772537 is a failure because of a SELinux
policy preventint reading /var/run/systemd/machines - which we don't
      need to monitor anyways.)
