In the settings panel, it is unclear what the "Microsoft 365" and "Microsoft Personal" account types are
Testing GNOME OS today, I see three types of Microsoft account listed:
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Personal
There are two aspects of this that are confusing:
- If I look online, Microsoft 365 says that it's an online office suite, and that you can have accounts for this service with Microsoft directly. Yet, the account setup dialog (screenshot) for this seems to imply that Microsoft 365 can only be provided by a client other than Microsoft.
- If I search online, I can see that Microsoft 365 is a thing. I can also see that Microsoft Exchange accounts are a thing. However, if I search for "Microsoft Personal", I get results for Microsoft 365 Personal. It is unclear which account type to choose for "Microsoft 365 Personal": is it "Microsoft 365" or "Microsoft Personal"?
Perhaps the names of the account types need to be changed? And maybe they need descriptions to explain what each one is? It might also help to change the order, with the more official centrally managed Microsoft account coming first.
