No Wi-Fi P2P adapters found

I tried alot of things, to be able to connect to my samsung smart tv from my ubuntu machine however, no matters how many times I try, I still fail to find out the reason behind this No Wifi adapters found, although I enabled it using wpa_cli, and I'm able to scan as well, but it still can't initiate p2p connection. Is there any documentation clarifying how to to enable the adapters?
