Description
Perhaps, this is just me, but my typical workflow when compiling latex documents is to write one paragraph and then build the pdf, and check the paragraph in the pdf. Then go back to the latex document and write another paragraph, but not necessarily in order, I could be writing a paragraph in Section I some time and then jump to writing something else in Section VII and so on. What would really help when using F2 repeatedly to build and verify my edits in the pdf is if the pdf automatically jumped to the line where I made the recentmost edit, almost the equivalent of doing Ctrl+Click on the recentmost edit in the latex document. At the moment the evince just shows the last view if it were already open or it evince opens showing the very beginning of the document. I have to then go back and Ctrl+Click on the latex document to jump to where I want it to be.
In essence, would it be possible to directly make evince jump to the recentmost edit when showing the pdf after F2 is pressed?
