GNOME Flashback steals Super-[a-z] key combinations
The issue is described by my email to gnome-flashback-list:

Hello!
I've just upgraded from Ubuntu 16.04 (GNOME 3.18) to 18.04 (GNOME 3.28), and hit a major regression in handling of key shortcuts.
Any key combination of the form "Super-[a-z]" turns into "[a-z]"! For example, "Super-p" turns into "p".
Reproducing: start the "GNOME Flashback (Metacity)" session; open gnome-terminal; press Super-a. Result: letter "a" gets typed.
This bug affects my usage of xmonad.
Alberts replied:
I did quick test with Super + t... And yes, I see that "t" appears in terminal. Then I added this shortcut in Keyboard settings and it works. So any chance that in upgrade you simply lost your shortcuts and you need to re-add them?
Max:
My shortcuts are handled not by GNOME, but by xmonad, the window manager that I use in place of Metacity. The problem is that the latest version of gnome-panel intercepts "Super-t" and turns it into "t", even though there is no such binding in GNOME settings.
Alberts Muktupāvels:
Does it help if you disable shell part of gnome-flashback?
gsettings set org.gnome.gnome-flashback shell false
Max:
No, it does not.
