Add support for eBooks · 17322bb4
      Bastien Nocera authored
Add a new application, "Books" (aka gnome-books) to the
gnome-documents git repository. This application shares most
of its code with Documents, and it supports:
      - Categorising e-Books vs. Comics
      - Searches
      - Preview of CBZ/CBR/etc. comic formats (supported through the
libevince backend) with "fit page" zoom by default

all: don't use Clutter and ClutterGTK · f81833d7
      Cosimo Cecchi authored
Now GTK+ and libgd have everything we used to need Clutter and
ClutterGTK for, so port Documents to be a pure GTK application. This has
huge benefits for performance, accessibility and integration.

search: rework search infrastructure · a0f97d2d
      Cosimo Cecchi authored
The final goal is to use the same process for the search provider and
the application, to make it easy to support the new shell search
provider API. In order to do this, some things that are currently global
in Documents cannot be assumed global anymore - for example, the currrent
search string cannot be shared between the provider and an existing
window; we basically need to keep the search provider state separate
from the rest of the application.

      This commit:
      - moves all the code related to search attributes in search.js
      - removes global.js and moves the state and controllers to Application
      - adds support for a different "context" to Manager and the shared
        controllers
      - moves ShellSearchProvider to be created from the application, with a
        --no-default-window option, and separate states/controllers
      - modifies Application, Embed and others to handle the provider service
        and closing/reopening of a window

collections: re-implement support for collections as items in the view · 219e149e
      Cosimo Cecchi authored
Instead of going through a separate query to the tracker model, just
mark collections as such from the list of results we get back from the
tracker store in the main query.

sidebar: remove the sidebar · 63506b10
      Cosimo Cecchi authored
As for the latest iterations of the designs, we now want to be
      sidebar-less.
The sidebar currently controls categories and collections: collections
will come back in the next commit as regular view items, while
categories for now have been added to the search bar dropdown, waiting
      for a better place.

selections: first pass at implementing a "selection" mode · c47df070
      Cosimo Cecchi authored
The "selection" mode is entered with a button on the main toolbar or by
right clicking on any item. An OSD toolbar will appear when one or more
items are selected, offering an accessible context-menu like list of
actions (which are not yet wired).
