Description
Regarding Create new partition dialog / partition size:
beside 'Bytes', 'KB', 'MB',... it would be handy to also find
'S' - Sectors
in the list.
Like this it'll be easy to gain most exact results.
1 Sector = 512 Byte. ... or just look how size suffix is handled by the standard 'DD' console tool.
I'm using 3.18 that is included with Linux Mint 18.3. I see there is already 3.28 out there. Sorry I didn't manage it to install & test this new version. I'm kinda new to Linux. Hmm I tried two ways to get the new version:
- via Apt-get + adding repo's but I didn't found a repository url for gnome-disk-utility
- via *.deb file from http://packages.debian.org/sid/amd64/gnome-disk-utility/download ...but with all the dependencies and dependencies of the dependencies that's gonna get some never ending story I don't like to do this manually.
Sign seem that some things like download a file and run it are more easy in Windows than it is in Linux.
Version: 3.18.x
