Turkish typing selection in wrong order
Hi,
While I was testing GNOME OS, I found a moderate bug.
After selecting the language user selects Typing method means Keyboard layout.
For Turkish GNOME initial setup offers some keyboard layouts but they are indeed in a very wrong order.
Offers are:
"Old Turkic"
"Old Turkic (F)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, F)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, Latin Alt-Q)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, Latin Q)"
Actually, we don't even know these keyboard layouts! After a long way down you can see real in-use keyboards near to the bottom of the keyboards list.
"Turkish"
"Turkish (Germany)"
"Turkish (Alt-Q)"
"Turkish (E)"
"Turkish (F)"
At least, "Turkish" should be the first one. Then "Turkish (F)" is second.
I couldn't find any real data, IMHO 98% of keyboards in-use in Turkey are the "Turkish" layout.
You may see the "Turkish (F)" keyboard in some government offices. (A historical keyboard layout from typewriter technology). "Turkish (E)" is a very new keyboard, I only heard it, and haven't seen it anywhere.
Shortly:
The real order may be:
"Turkish"
"Turkish (F)"
"Turkish (E)"
"Turkish (Alt-Q)"
"Turkish (Germany)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, Latin Q)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, Latin Alt-Q)"
"Kurdish (Turkey, F)"
"Old Turkic"
"Old Turkic (F)"
