Night Light: allow adjusting **daytime** colour temperature
The ability to change colour temperature at nighttime is on the way as discussed in #147 (closed)
But if you read the the original bug report: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781473
What people required is the ability to adjust color tempeture especially in daytime. But the discussion in #147 (closed) ignored this point.
This is also the main reason that I'm still stick with X11, despite that wayland has been default for quite a while.
Currently, I'm using redshift
, both daytime and nighttime, to prevent headaches and also protect my eyes. After I set the latitude/longitude coordinates and temperature of daytime/nighttime(5700K/3700K), redshift will gradually change the color between day and night according to my location and color setting.
