Keyboard shortcuts on Shift+Alt+( and Shift+Alt+) do not work
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings
- Create a keyboard shortcut for Shift+Alt+9 (which can also be thought of as "Shift+Alt+(" ). For example, configure it to launch "gedit".
- Press Shift+Alt+9
Expected result: gedit opens
Actual result: Nothing happens. The keyboard input passes through to applications, as can be seen if you run cat
in a terminal and press Shift+Alt+9 -- ^[(
appears in the terminal.
Shift+Alt+0 (which can also be thought of as "Shift+Alt+)" ) is broken in the same way. Binding to other key shortcuts works as expected.
