Please consider reimplementing solid-color backgrounds in the desktop-background picker
Feature summary
Setting a solid background color is essential or at least highly recommended for some purposes -- among the most common, presentations or video recording/videoconferencing.
How would you like it to work
Having this be a convenient operation in the desktop-background GUI again rather than only available through dconf would be very nice for users who want solid backgrounds.

In a discussion on Reddit of why this disappeared from the GUI (https://www.reddit.com/r/gnome/comments/dayto8/can_someone_point_me_to_the_train_of/), /u/feaneron posted:
"While working on the new Background panel, we tried to find people who use plain colors as background, and see how it could fit the new designs. Unsurprisingly, nobody was found, up to 2 degrees of the social graph. I alone consulted more than 30 GNOME users personally, and asked about it for 400+. It is hard to justify the existence of an interface for a feature that is used by approximately 0%, so it was left out of the new panel."
My own social reach is by no means extensive, but I knew I had several friends who used solid-color backgrounds, so I posted a Twitter poll (https://twitter.com/caffeinepresent/status/1211828805691674624). At the time of the poll I had approximately the same number of Twitter followers I have now, a little more than 650.
Results:
Question 1: Out of 413 impressions, 25 responded. 6 (24%) indicated they use a solid background always; an additional 2 (8%) indicated they use one occasionally.
Question 2: Out of 272 impressions, 9 responded. 5 (56%) indicated they use solid color backgrounds out of personal preference, 4 (44%) use them for other reasons (but not accessibility or technical requirements, which were available poll options). One reply indicated that solid colors work better for them with multiple displays of varying resolution; another indicated he switches his background to solid gray for presentations.
This suggests to me that the use of solid-color backgrounds is well above "approximately 0%".
