Ability to rename (paired) Bluetooth devices
Currently (GNOME 3.34.1), the Bluetooth panel presents the user with a list of connected or available Bluetooth devices, using its name to identify each of them. When a bluetooth device is connected, you can click on it in the Bluetooth panel and it will show this window:
It would be nice to have the ability, once a Bluetooth device is paired, to change its name.
My wife and I both own a pair of identical Bluetooth earphones (same brand, same model). I ended up pairing both to my laptop. Now, when I turn one pair on, I have no idea which one is supposed to get connected or not.
On my Android smartphone, I paired both, but there is a feature to rename the devices, so I modified their name to know which one I want to connect easily.
For the UI, I guess a simple text field under "Address" (in the above screenshot) would be enough.
