Allow having a visual indicator for mouse clicks in Accessibility settings
Now that "Locate pointer" is in Mutter thanks to mutter!453 (merged) , I'd love to have an Accessibility setting which creates a visual indicator for mouse clicks
Use case: Screencasts, so you don't have to say "Click XYZ" but have some visual effect when left-clicking. Something like the circles in the upper left corner of GNOME Shell, see https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/3.32/figures/shell-activities.png
IRC conversation in gnome-hackers from today:
<mclasen> andre: I think the screencast use case is better handled separately from locate pointer
<andre> mclasen: alright... any hints under which project to file a task?
<mclasen> andre: an a11y setting for locate pointer would belong to the control-center
<mclasen> something for screencasts would probably be a shell extension
<mclasen> I'd actually be surprised if there isn't one somewhere already
Could not find anything in https://extensions.gnome.org/ though.
