RFE: hide unusued printers from cups-browsed service
I would like to have all the cups servers I use listed in the cups-browsed config (and, preferably, provided by IT as one unified set). In the printer dialog, I would like to select a set of "favorites" that hide the rest except when I click "see more" or some such.
The particular use case is: I go to multiple company offices regularly, I want to keep something like the browsed service to keep track of the printers in the various offices. However, I don't want to see a ton of printers when trying to print. On the flip side, I need the "subsystem" to be aware of printer changes and what new ones might be available.
Some of this may be me not entirely understanding cups/cups-browsed but, to the point, I don't want to ;).
