Feature: set first day of week in locale settings
Adding an option to set/change first day of week for a couple of reasons:
- it appears that some locale definitions do not include configuration of the first day of the week (this is the case for me with
en_AU
) - other locales' definition may have this configured, but the user may want the change this setting for various reasons.
While there are ways to change this by editing the actual files in /usr/share/i18n/locales/...
as explained here, I think it is appropriate to be able to set this via system settings.
Note: there was a previous discussion re: this in relation to gnome-calendar and gnome-tweaks quite a while ago, but at the time gnome-tweaks rejected the idea of an override via tweaks - I tend to agree and think this should be part of GNOME's locale ("Date & Time") settings.
