Mouse and Trackpad impossible to navigate with keyboard
My trackpad just stopped working, and so I went to the control panel to see if disabling and re-enabling it would fix it, and found I couldn't navigate to the settings for that panel at all using the keyboard.
This is with gnome-control-centre 3.30.1 installed on Ubuntu 18.10.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings
- Click Mouse and Touchpad in left column
- Press tab or left arrow once or twice to navigate to the settings in the right hand pane
Expected: Keyboard focus moves to Primary Button UI
Actual: Focus moves somewhere unknown, then to the Back button, then back to the left hand pane, repeatedly
NB, it would be good to wrap the left and right panes in borderless GtkFrames, since this would allow navigating between the two simply by pressing F6, a standard GTK keybinding.
