Detailed description of the issue. Put as much information as you can, potentially with images showing the issue.
GNOME Settings detects GAOMON S620 as Huion H950P, as shown in the screenshot below:
I checked in both the evemu-record
and libinput debug-events
, they detect my graphic tablet's name correctly, as GAOMON Gaomon Tablet
for the stylus input, and GAOMON Gaomon Tablet Pad
for the buttons input.
The header from my evemu-record
:
# EVEMU 1.3
# Kernel: 5.19.1-1-default
...
# Input device name: "GAOMON Gaomon Tablet"
# Input device ID: bus 0x03 vendor 0x256c product 0x6d version 0x111
# Size in mm: 165x101
# EVEMU 1.3
# Kernel: 5.19.1-1-default
...
# Input device name: "GAOMON Gaomon Tablet Pad"
# Input device ID: bus 0x03 vendor 0x256c product 0x6d version 0x111
This issue appears recently, I don't know it's because I updated to kernel 5.19 or updated to GNOME 42.4.
I am on openSUSE Tumbleweed, updated to the latest version, GNOME 42.4.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect GAOMON S620 graphic tablet.
- Open GNOME Settings
- Go to Wacom Tablet's settings.
- The tablet's name is not showing correctly.
