Applications: Closing subpage puts sidebar in invalid state

If the user closes out of the applications list subpage, an app detail page is paired up w/ the toplevel sidebar. See video:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open GNOME Settings (version: aa0adcaa)
  2. Open the applications page
  3. Hit the back button in the sidebar
  4. Observe bug

Alternatively:

  1. Make the window small enough to fold the leaflet
  2. Open the applications page
  3. Select an application
  4. Hit the back button twice
  5. Make the window bigger to unfold the leaflet
  6. Observe bug
