Wi-FI: Enhanced Open (OWE) is not saved properly
Connecting to Enhanced Open network (OWE) works for the first time, however when connection is edited, it saves it as standard open connection (with Security None). This operation discards wifi-sec section from NetworkManager connection, which requires wifi-sec.key-mgmt=owe to be set. So, changing connection via Settings (static IP, or DNS) makes it unusable, as it is no longer activable.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings, Wi-Fi panel
- Connect to OWE network
- Modify the OWE network settings, check that Security is "Enhanced Open"
- Apply changes (even no changes), and connection security is discarded (check via
nmcli
or open modify dialog again).
Affected versions:
all, checked latest koji build:gnome-control-center-41.1-1.eln113 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1849885
