Allow the next and previous input source shortcuts to be independent?
At the moment in 40.1 the two shortcuts (next and previous) to switch between input sources are tied together so that if one is changed the other is automatically changed to either include Shift or exclude it. Is there any reason not to allow the user to make these two shortcuts completely different?
I saw a post in the GNOME subreddit where the user wanted to set the next input source shortcut to Shift+Space, which then causes the previous input source shortcut to be changed to just Space, which I doubt anyone would want.
Also, in case anyone else runs into this the dconf keys are in the org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings schema and the keys themselves are switch-input-source and switch-input-source-backward, so changing those via gsettings will work.
