Notification settings: allow user to specify expiration timeout
GNOME Settings to allow user to specify expiration timeout
As of now, the notification editor dialog does not allow specifying expiration timeout settings for specific apps. This is relevant because some applications do not specify expiration timeout in the way the user requires, or not at all.
The missing configuration that is essential is:
- In the notification dialog, allow user to specify/override expiration timeout, offering expiration after some predefined options, such as: after 5min, after 30min, after 1h, at logout
Optionally, the following configuration can also be added:
- allow the user to formulate minutes/hours without presets.
