Gnome control center does not allow to change any resolution.
I'm using Solus 4.1, Kernel: x86_64 Linux 5.6.19-159.current, DE: GNOME 3.38.2, WM: BudgieWM, GPU: Radeon RX 580, DRM 3.36.0, 5.6.19-159.current, LLVM 10.0.1 with Budgie Desktop. The latest update includes upgrading to GNOME 3.38.2 from 3.34. This new version does not allow to change the Display resolution, it will only show the native resolution. It is possible to use xrandr to change to another resolution, though.
This was possible before upgrading to the newer GNOME.
