- There ought to be more vertical space around the battery level
- The sub-labels for the wi-fi and bluetooth items ought to be smaller text (see the Mouse & Touchpad panel for an example), and might need more vertical space of their own
This is the kind of thing that I'd like to fix myself, but only a small part of the panel can be modified from the .ui file.GNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/533Displays: night light list row is out of place2019-06-17T10:48:00ZAllan DayDisplays: night light list row is out of place![image](/uploads/e44379123c8d52e08bfe66536806bdf8/image.png)

This position of the night light list row is logically incorrect: it looks like night light belongs to a particular display, when it doesn't.
Night light is sufficiently different from the rest of the display settings to warrant placing it in its own view. [My latest mockups](https://gitlab.gnome.org/Teams/Design/settings-mockups/blob/master/displays/displays-experimental-2.png) indicate how this could be done.GNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/532Fix Flatpak2019-05-24T19:21:49ZGeorges Basile Stavracas NetoFix FlatpakGNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/552Incorrect capitalisation in power settings labels2019-06-16T01:01:42ZAllan DayIncorrect capitalisation in power settings labelsControl labels [should generally use heading capitalization](https://developer.gnome.org/hig/stable/writing-style.html.en). In the designs, each icon was unique, and was supposed to communicate something useful about the sound before you click it (#264 is relevant).
If we are unable to update the sounds (again, #264), we need to decide whether the icons are useful for the current alert selection. If they're not useful, it might be best to rethink the alert selection UI. If they can be useful, we can provide new icons to replace the existing one.GNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/551Hard to tell that something is happening when the Wi-Fi panel is open2019-06-17T09:06:23ZAllan DayHard to tell that something is happening when the Wi-Fi panel is openThe Bluetooth panel has a spinner above the list which indicates that something is happening - that it's visible and scanning. The Wi-Fi list currently lacks this - the list is static and there's no indication that the system is actively search for networks, or that the list is being constantly updated.
Assuming that we do aggressively refresh the list of visible networks, we should show a spinner next to the "Visible Networks" heading, like we do in the bluetooth panel. If we don't aggressively refresh the network list, we should do that too  .GNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/516Every Detail Matters: GNOME Settings2019-06-16T01:22:42ZGeorges Basile Stavracas NetoEvery Detail Matters: GNOME SettingsThis is a small initiative to try and fix as many small polish issues as possible. ## Notes
¹ To be included, issues must:
* Impact the user experience in a noticeable way.
* Be small in scope: they shouldn't require a lot of developer time to fix.
* Have a clear design ready to be implemented.GNOME 3.34Georges Basile Stavracas NetoGeorges Basile Stavracas Netohttps://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/676Background panel: doesn't look good at default size2020-02-19T11:09:03ZTobias BernardBackground panel: doesn't look good at default sizeAt the default window size, there are only two images per row, which doesn't look good:
