no way to unset avatar

Description
There doesn't seem to be a way to unset a contacts avatar. I discovered this by trying out the select an avatar dialog but then wanting to cancel the process. There is no way to cancel without selecting one and no way to unselect one later.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
