Remote connections: NFS file & folder listings inaccurate following file operations on NFS mounted tree

Description
Connected Ubuntu 10.10 desktop to Ubuntu 10.10 server using NFS. Connection etc. is fine and all working as expected outside of gnome-commander. gnome-commander's initial load of the NFS mounted tree correctly reflects folders & files. If any folders/ files are then renamed using another application or bash, the changes are not detected by gnome-commander e.g. when deleting files or renaming folders via bash and another app respectively, the deleted files are still listed in gnome-commander's view pane, as are the previous folder names. The only way around this appears to be quitting and restarting gnome-commander.
btw, this is the 3rd bug I've submitted and the previous ones haven't even been confirmed after more than a year. Is gnome-commander still under active development or should I quit bothering to report issues and request enhancements, and look instead for another file manager?
