gnome-commander internal viewer: image scrolling not working

In the help I read: "To scroll around an image that is larger than the image window or full screen window, you can use the following methods:

  1. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard.
  2. Drag the scrollbars on the window borders.
  3. Click at a random position of the image and drag it by pulling your mouse in the opposite direction to which you want to scroll. For example, if you want to scroll down the image, drag the image upwards."

Option 1 and 3 are not working for me. Using:

  • Fedora 32
  • gnome-commander 1.10.3 I often need to zoom in on images and scroll to the correct location. This is currently not possible to do quickly (using the scrollbars is not quick) A suggestion for an alternative to the internal viewer that also supports text and images (including scrolling) would also solve the issue.
