File list panel shows GMT time not local time

Just installed 1.14.0 on a new Fedora 35 system. The "settings - format" screen shows the local time as expected (settings_format.png) but the file list panel shows GMT time (panel.png). It should also be local time (in my opinion). I'm assuming it's GMT since I'm GMT-6.
