Feature: world-clock time table view
When collaborating with colleagues in other parts of the world, or finding a time to call my parents ~10 timezones away, I either try to remember the unix
date command invocation to convert timezones (e.g., see this SuperUser answer), or turn to a tool like the World Meeting Planner to get an idea of convenient times for everyone involved. Here's a screenshot:
It would be nice to be able to do this offline, and Clocks seems like it might be a good fit (Calendar doesn't really have a world-clock view). The World Clocks feature currently only says the current time in each timezone, and a table view could help with scheduling events in the future (so it would also be nice to view such a table for some other date than the current one).
I am concerned that adding such a feature might make Clocks' UI confusing, but on the other hand it would contribute to making GNOME even more useful. I'm thinking it could be some toggle that switches the current box view into a table. If fact, as I was writing up this issue I found there were some mockups for this already (thanks: https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2019/12/new-gnome-app-mockups), although it sounds like it might be preferred as a separate app?
