gnome-calendar app is very slow to open
- gnome-calendar version: 3.34.2
- distro: debian sid
Steps to reproduce:
- Add any remote calendar (Two GMail calendars in my case) in gnome settings
- Click on gnome-calendar in menu
Expected results: gnome-calendar will open immediately
Actual results: gnome-calendar start time is more than 10 seconds
Run from terminal using "time" for measurements:
▶ time gnome-calendar
gnome-calendar 0,08s user 0,02s system 0% cpu 24,720 total
I find out the --debug
CLI key, but it produce almost nothing:
▶ gnome-calendar --debug
13:53:47.293441 GcalEvent: DEBUG: Number of cached events at destruction: 0
NB: If you close app and then immediately open it again, start will be fast. Just wait 10-15 seconds between stop-start.
