The calendar events are displayed as many times as the calendar gets opened.
Affected version
- Fedora Workstation 37
- gnome-calendar-43.1-2
Bug summary
When the calendar is opened, all events replicate (they get a plus one), so when I open the calendar 4 times, I am getting four copies of all calendar events. The next time, I open the calendar, all events add one more copy, so I am getting five copies of all events.
The calendar is connected to a Google account, but the events still look good on Google as no duplicates, triplicates on anything is present there. I believe that the culprit is in displaying the events rather then really copying them.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the calendar and add an event, close it.
- Open it again and you will notice that the events doubled (at first you can see it in the left side of the calendar in the list view). Close it.
- Open it again and you will notice that the events are now trippled. Close it.
What happened
Gnome Calendar displays events as multiple instances.
What did you expect to happen
I expect normal behaviour.
