Cannot copy text from the disabled / insensitive widgets of a subscribed (read-only) online calendar
Environment: GNOME 40.4, GNOME Calendar 40.2, Fedora 34 x86_64
Steps to reproduce:
- Add subscribed calendar to GNOME Calendar (.ical)
- Click on a sample event from subscribed calendar. Modal dialog with event details is displayed.
- Since the calendar is subscribed, event fields are disabled.
Expected behavior:
I'd like to be able to use mouse to select text in the disabled fields. For instance, select and copy the event name, select and copy a hyperlink from the event notes section.
Actual behavior:
Mouse events are disabled for the disabled fields. User cannot select and copy text from disabled text inputs and areas.
P.S.
I am not sure if GTK allows enabling mouse selection events (functionality) for disabled inputs and textareas. I checked in HTML you can select and copy text in disabled inputs and textareas, which makes sense. I'd like to have the same functionality implemented in GNOME Calendar
