Timezone issues
I'm new to bugs reporting and please tell me if I give to little information. I have a bug with time zones, in my calendar an event is shown at the wrong time. The event was created form google calendars and started at 08:00 +3UTC. Since then, I've moved to a +2UTC timezone (CEST summer time), which is correctly displayed on my pc time. In google calendars the meeting now shows at 07:00 which is correct but my gnome-calendar shows 08:00.
I've colleagues in the +3UTF timezone and would like to be able to create events in another timezone. However, I couldn't find the button for this, does anybody know where to find it?
I'm using:
- Gnome-calendar: Version 3.36.1
- Ubuntu 20.04
- Libical 3.0.8-1
My time settings: Using timedatectl
Local time: ma 2020-04-27 08:27:24 CEST
Universal time: ma 2020-04-27 06:27:24 UTC
RTC time: ma 2020-04-27 06:27:24
Time zone: Europe/Amsterdam (CEST, +0200)
System clock synchronized: yes
NTP service: active
RTC in local TZ: no
Steps to reproduce:
- Create event in different timezone on google calendar
- Create 'online account' and enable calendar synchronization
- Compare event time with the one in google calendar
I'm not sure what to do with the section below here, I'll leave it as it is for now.
