Timezone is wrong in GNOME Calendar, but not in GNOME notification area
Say I have an event starting at 08:00 in my local timezone. GNOME Calendar then wrongly shows it starting at 09:00. However in the calendar in the notifications are, GNOME itself does show the event correctly.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Calendar
- I have an .ical file and import it via "import from file".
- Now check the time.
Here is the type this .ics
file is structured (I've replaced and removed certain details), you'll see my timezone in there, too:
BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:2.0
X-WR-TIMEZONE:Europe/Berlin
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTAMP:20181028T195428Z
DESCRIPTION:sdfsdfsd
DTSTART:20171004T080000
DTEND:20171004T093000
LOCATION:somewhere
SUMMARY:fsdfsd
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR
So the time in there is given as a local time as it seems (starting at 08:00).
Note that in Germany we recently had daylight savings time change and it did only result in the GNOME Calendar not being off that much (i.e. before that in "summer time" it had a +2 offset, now it only has a +1 offset), but ignoring that the GNOME Notification area always displayed it correctly IIRC.
