Fast Scrolling is Slower than Slow Scrolling
Affected version
Fedora 39 GNOME Calendar 45.1
Bug summary
When Scrolling through the calendar, fast scrolling will result in less area scrolled compared to slow scrolling in the same time. This makes the app frustrating to use.
Steps to reproduce
- Scroll with a normal speed, as if you scrolled through a webpage, notice the view scrolling only by one line even though you scrolled an amount worth of more
- Scroll slower, waiting for each animation cycle to finish before scrolling further, notice how now every scroll goes through
Or alternatively:
- Place finger on scroll wheel
- Scroll down fast
- Scroll up slowly until your finger reaches the starting position again
- Notice how the view is not at the starting position, but further up
