Sidebar uses ⅓ of the screen, conflicts with week / month view on small-medium screens (tablets, netbooks, landscape smartphones, portrait-orientation monitors, half-tiling)
Affected version
- Your OS and version: Linux manjaro-arm 6.1.12-1-MANJARO-ARM
- Affected GNOME Calendar version: 43.1
Bug summary
Calendar uses (very limited) space poorly in phone landscape view by populating 1/3 of the screen with a redundant view.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Calendar on a phone.
- Rotate the phone to landscape mode.
- Observe the issue stated below (and in attachment)
What happened
A redundant monthly view takes up 1/3 of the screen (left side) in horizontal mode, making it almost impossible to see the content on the right side that I'm interested in.
What did you expect to happen
I would expect for the weekly/monthly view to take up the full screen in landscape mode, rather than have a redundant monthly view occupying > 1/3 of the screen.
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
