channel-insecure-symbolic is broken
The color in channel-insecure-symbolic has broken in the GNOME master runtime, and @exalm and I have no idea why. This is a security problem because users are unlikely to notice the degraded security status without the color indicator.
We've tested a lot of things, most recently testing a rollback of librsvg version. But surprisingly, the icon is colored when building gnome-build-meta master branch and then launching gtk3-icon-browser inside bst shell core/epiphany.bst
; however, in the actual flatpak runtime, the icon is not colored.
I'm totally out of ideas for what to try next. The only things we confidently know:
- Sunday, May 12 org.gnome.Platform//master runtime: last good
- Monday, May 13 org.gnome.Platform//master runtime: first broken
