Description
When you boot live system in Boxes, create a partition table with partitions on the virtual hard drive without installing the system, there is no way to make Boxes boot from the live media again, it keeps trying to boot from the hard drive.
Affected use cases: I wanted to show students how to install Fedora next to Windows. I created a NTFS partition in live session, then turned the live system off and wanted to boot it again as if it was booting on a Windows machine. Instead of booting from the live media it kept trying to boot from the virtual hard drive where there was only an empty NTFS partition.
Dualbooting - you cannot install another system to the box because it won't boot to a mounted media.
Fixing broken system from a live system - you cannot boot to a live system to fix a system that is already installed in the box.
Solution: there should be an option to mount bootable drive in the box properties.
