Description
Created attachment 352652 Boxes cannot navigate to other dir by pasting location
Again I am trying to open a CD/DVD.
So I compare the behaviour with gedit when opening a file. What I do there is:
- Open the "Open file" dialog.
- Press Ctrl+L.
- Paste the /home/… or whatever file path you have copied there. OR just type it in manually.
- Press enter.
What happens: The location is changed to this dir.
So this is how it should work. With GNOME boxes I basically do it the same way, but use the CD/DVD dialog. See the attached video for STR and note that in the small pauses I (tries to) press(ed) enter like someone insane. Also note that i typed it manually and it even autocompleted my typing, but pressing enter did not result in the directory content being shown.
Also I deliberately used /home/<username>
and even also download folder here as there as there are many subdirectories, so you cannot say, because there were no ISO files it does not offer me to open these.
