box creation gets stuck on Ubuntu 22.04
- Host: Ubuntu 22.04 Alpha
- qemu 1:6.2+dfsg-2ubuntu5
- osinfo-db 0.20220214-1
- gnome-boxes 42 RC from Ubuntu's packaging. (I also used the .deb for 41.3 and 40.3 with the same result).
- Open Boxes. Click the +
- Select Operating System Image File and select the ISO you downloaded. I used Ubuntu 21.10 Desktop and a recent Fedora Rawhide ISO.
At this point, the Create button doesn't work and the Customize resource allocation button doesn't work.
When run from a terminal, here's the output:
gnome-boxes:): Boxes-WARNING **: 11:54:32.584: review-page.vala:44: Box setup failed: Unable to get domain capabilities: Failed to create unique directory with template '/home/jeremy/.config/libvirt/qemu/lib/qmp-C91PI1' for probing QEMU: No such file or directory (gnome-boxes:): Boxes-CRITICAL **: 11:54:32.584: boxes_assistant_review_page_populate: assertion 'machine != NULL' failed
