Windows 10 crash install on host AMD Ryzen 7
I tried to install a Windows 10 virtual machine with Gnome-boxes on a AMD Ryzen 7 / Linux 4.19.88-1 host, but I had a crash.
The error I've got on the logs is:
Domain id=22 is tainted: host-cpu char device redirected to /dev/pts/1 (label charserial0) qemu-system-x86_64:This family of AMD CPU doesn't support hyperthreading Please configure smp options properly or try enabling topoext feature
And the Windows machine is telling me:
SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
I found those related issues, but I still can't figure how to solve: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/1703506 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1592276
I'm running Gnome-Boxes in version 3.34.2.
Please tell me if you need more information about my config. Thanks.
