I added shared folder from host Arch Linux to guest Ubuntu 19.10. And plugging an USB drive does not work either.
Hello,
I do not forget of referring #170 (closed) and #305. I added the shared folders from host Arch Linux to guest Ubuntu 19.10. I clicked "Spice client folder" and received a warning "Unable to access location".
I have packages qemu-guest-agent
, spice-client-glib-usb-acl-helper
, spice-client-gtk
, spice-html5
, spice-vdagent
and spice-webdavd
installed on guest Ubuntu. The spice-webdavd service is active and has no error.
I have packages spice
, spice-gtk
, spice-protocol
and spice-vdagent
installed on host Arch Linux.
And
Update
I added group=kvm
to the file /etc/modprobe.d/qemu-system-x86.conf
and ran sudo usermod -a -G kvm myusername
. I rebooted. But I am still unable to access the Spice client folder.
Update 2
I plugged an USB drive, enabled it and it did not appear in the guest virtual machine.
My USB drive is a Vinik-branded external case with a WD GReen-branded SSD m.2 2280. It USB type is 3.1.
