"parsing filters is unsupported" error when extracting a rar file (file-roller and unrar work fine)
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: nautilus-41.0-1.fc35.x86_64, Fedora 35
Steps to reproduce
- Download a sample rar file from https://www.getsamplefiles.com/sample-archive-files/rar
- Right click on the file, click "Extract here"
- See "There was an error while extracting 'sample.rar'. Parsing filters is unsupported.'
ClickingSkip
orCancel
buttons seems to have no effect on the outcome. - See that
sample.docx
was extracted correctly, butsample.doc
wasn't (0 bytes file). (After testing another archive, it seems that one of the files get extracted incorrectly, into a 0 bytes file, perhaps the last one extracted?) - Try to extract the same archive with
file-roller
andunrar
. See that those tools work without issues.
Current behavior
The archive is not extracted correctly (a 0 bytes file). An error is presented.
Expected behavior
The archive should be extracted correctly.
