Add --maximum-string-literal-length argument to glib-compile-resources
Following on from #1711 (closed) and !763 (closed), we need to add an explicit argument to glib-compile-resources
to allow/disallow use of long string literals.
Given that GCC allows you to use long string literals by default, I’d be tempted to also do that, and have the argument be required to disable use of long literals.
This can’t go in 2.60.x because it’s a new command line argument.
