Description
Currently this code is needed, to produce a empty <default>
in the gschema:
<key name="firstname" type="s">
<default>
""</default>
<summary>
Your firstname</summary>
<description>
Place your firstname. Example: Sascha.
</description>
</key>
But the key has the type string, so it should be possible to use just:
<key name="firstname" type="s">
<default>``</default>
<summary>
Your firstname</summary>
<description>
Place your firstname. Example: Sascha.
</description>
</key>
Other people also stumbled about that problem, as Example https://rm5248.com/gsettings/
For a newbie GNOME programming it makes no sense to use quotes inside the string key.
Would be great if a upcoming version can add this enhancement.
